Mango bliss with a twist

Made of 2 freshly squeezed oranges, 1 lime and 4 small mangoes.

The lime adds a bit of a bitter flavour at the taste finish. I might prefer the smoothi without the lime.

Makes 2 pints. And a mark of 7or 8/10

A tasty regular - Pinapple, mango and strawberries

Made of half a pinapple, 2 small mangoes and 300g strawberries.

A few tips:
- Easier to start the blender with the mangoes and strawberries.
- To get a cold/ refreshing smoothie, do not use ice but put your fruits in the fridge before making the smoothie. This way no dilution, just pure taste or did I mean pure bliss :-)

This makes 2 pints of smoothie. And Today's mark 9 or 10/10.

Coconut Milk, Mangoes, Figs

This smoothie, or dare I say thick milkshake based on its consistence was made of half a can of coconut milk, 2 small mangoes, 2 bananas and 6/7 fresh figs.

If we exclude the strange consistence, the taste was not that bad. I have to start recognising though that I am not a fan of coconut milk based smoothie, purely based on taste. To each their own taste.

Quantity made with above ingredients: 1.5 pints. Mark 5 out of 10.

Melon, Mango and Figs

Half a melon, a large Mango and 7 figs creates a very nice and very sweet smoothie ( we could almost say coulis, based on the consistence and sweetness).

Highly recommended.

This quantity makes over a pint, and a mark of 9 or 10/10

Melon, Pinapple and Strawberries

Made of a whole melon, half a large pinapple and 400g of strawberries.

Very nice :-)

Makes 2.5 pints. Mark 7/10

A typical fruit bowl

The people among you who were lucky enough to see my main fruit bowl (I can use two of them) were very impressed by it. Hence I thought I would post a photo :-)

Pinapple and Strawberries

Made of half a pinapple, 400g of strawberries, and two freshly squeezed oranges.

Nice and refreshing taste (if you had the pinapple in the fridge :-)).

Makes 2 pints.

And a mark of 9/10.

I did also for the first time wonder about the price of making such a smoothie, and the answer is 25p for the pinapple, 25 p for the oranges and 50p for the strawberries. Hence 50p/pint. Cheap and so tasty!!!

Melon, Pinapple and Figs

Made of a whole melon, half a pinapple and 6 fresh figs.

Just Fab!!! you first taste the melon, you finish with the figs, and the better connoisseurs among you, will recognise the pinapple taste in the middle. A very nice 3 taste layers smoothie.

This should give you 2 pints.

And a mark of 8 or 9 out of 10.

Banana, Kiwi, orange

Well I am not sure I would recommend to make this smoothie: 2 bananas, 3 kiwis and 3 freshly squeezed orange juice. ( it make a good pint). The taste was strange and slightly bitter.

May be a 2/10 mark. Is it obvious I did not like it that much? :-)

Melon, Mango, Lychees and Kiwi

Made of a small melon, a large mango, a kiwi and 10 lychees.

The jury loved this so much today that I was told I should create my own smoothie business and sold them in bottles like the "innocenti" ones. I feel flattered :-)
